I can't figure out how to give the photo some age scratches like this pic from 70sstreetmachines, any ideas?

Try adding some noise and maybe a touch of gaussian blur? I haven't been playing with photoshop lately

Looks much better. Vintage for sure.

Filters> Noise> Dust and Scratches

There's one called Film Grain too, but add-on I think. Dickin' with noise might get the same effect.

Add a new layer on top filled with a medium grey, add noise, and desaturate it. Set this noise layer to "soft light" and adjust transparency to taste.
